Maybe Jessica is a psychic, or maybe she was just being super nice, but near the end of our time together in Nanjing, we talked about returning to China. While I didn't expect to be back a year later, I can happily announce that on March 1, 2018 at 12:51 PM, I received the email alerting me of my finalist status. I will be spending 8 weeks in Xi'an, China, and I don't think I've actually processed that I'm going to be reliving one of the best summers of my life. I am extremely humbled, and I can't wait to use my NSLI-Y experience as a launch point for CLS.
